About Dr. Reynolds

Dr Reynolds, private paediatrician in surrey and berkshire

Dr. Reynolds is a very experienced senior Consultant Paediatrician, who specialises in the care of babies and young infants up to around 2 years of age. He is fully registered with the GMC, and has an NHS Consultant Post at St. Peter's Hospital in Surrey, and is also an Honorary Lecturer at Royal Holloway University of London. He leads the Neonatal Research team at St. Peter's, and he is joint Network Clinical Lead for Kent, Surrey and Sussex, helping to coordinate and improve the care of babies across the South-East region of England.

Dr. Reynolds is considered an expert in his field, and is regularly invited to lecture and teach.

He won the UK "Best Neonatal Specialist" category in the Who Cares Wins awards in 2018, which was presented to him by the then Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Theresa May MP

He can be seen privately at The Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor (there is ample parking and on-site Paediatric Nurses). Your child does not need to have private health insurance to see Dr. Reynolds, but he is registered with all the insurers as well.


Conditions that Dr. Reynolds specialises in include:


  • Gastro-intestinal e.g. starting solid foods and weaning choices, feeding difficulties, controlling wind and pain, gastro-oesophageal reflux, cow?s milk allergy, lactose intolerance, constipation, diarrhoea, vomiting, poor growth or weight gain.

  • General problems affecting babies e.g. crying, sleeping difficulties, colic, behavioural issues , feeding difficulties e.g. feeding refusal, slow feeding

  • Respiratory - cough, wheeze, chest infections, noisy breathing

  • Skin Problems and Birth Marks ? rashes, haemangioma 'strawberry' marks, dry skin and eczema

  • Development and Milestones - developmental delay and check-ups

  • Abnormal head shape e.g. plagiocephaly (flattening of the back or side of the head in babies)

  • Kidney - antenatally diagnosed kidney problems, urinary tract infections
